AWARENESS

In order to heal, we must learn and un-learn what has caused us to suffer.  Much of this program is structured to help you expand your understanding of the Mind-Body healing model and to deepen your belief in your ability to heal yourself through these tools and techniques.  We will explore themes and patterns in human psychological development as well as the importance of symbolism and metaphor as part of our human nature and the shaping of our habits and beliefs.  You will learn to re-establish the connection between your own mind and body and allow healing to happen.

TOOLS

As human beings, we are deeply connected to the tools that support us, and in order to "do the work" we need some powerful tools.  This program is designed to provide you with a buffet of practices and techniques that you can use to support yourself throughout your healing journey.  The purpose of this course is to help you understand and create your own unique system for self-healing and empower yourself to use it.  As an individual, you are the one true expert on your own experience of suffering and I want to help you realize your potential as the one true expert on your process for healing as well.

SUPPORT

When it comes to the healing journey, you must "do the work" for yourself and yet, you cannot do it alone. You, as an individual, are more resilient and powerful than you know and you're here to become the hero of your story.  However, the individual always draws more strength from the community that supports it and it gains a stronger sense of purpose by serving the community too. This program is designed to set you up as an empowered individual with everything you need to heal yourself; including compassionate support of an incredible group of like-minded people who are walking a parallel path.

Dani Fagan

As a heart-centered Yoga, Meditation, and Breathwork teacher for the chronic pain community, Dani is here to share practices that easily and effectively calm the nervous system and reinforce relevant themes that will show up throughout the program curriculum.  Having fully recovered from chronic pain using these practices along with JournalSpeak, Dani has created a wealth of online resources for the TMS community and she takes great pleasure in sharing insights into how you can soften and transform a disconnected fearful relationship with your body into one of love and trust.

Phil de la Haye

As a certified SIRPA Practitioner and Life Coach with a particular interest in the Mind-Body connection, Phil works with clients who have chronic pain and other stress related conditions. Having overcome his own chronic pain, Phil has a personal interest in this work and has helped tremendously in creating a welcoming environment for participants. He will be providing helpful resources from his areas of expertise and will be present to answer questions and provide support in the Private Online Community Space throughout the course of the program.

WELCOME TO YOU

Our ability to heal ourselves is built into the very nature of our beings and it's important that you accept your role as the hero of your own story.  

IN MODULE ONE, YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN:

Our built-in mechanisms for self-healing on mental, emotional, and physical levels.

How trauma and repressed emotions lead to chronic conditions and TMS.

The Importance of speaking our Mind-Body Language for the purpose of healing and JournalSpeak as a primary tool for self-healing.

MODULE TWO

YOU ARE SAFE

Most of us have been living in survival mode for a very long time now --but it doesn't have to be forever. We can move into thriving and away from the struggle but the only way out is to go within.  

IN MODULE TWO, YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN:

How we begin from a very early age to hold onto a general sense of trust or mistrust towards the world around us and also towards ourselves and how to move ourselves out of fear.

How formation of and engagement with resilience and resistance shape our behavior patterns over time and how we can consciously change patterns that no longer serve us.

Tools for connecting with the world through our senses and sensations and beginning to speaking your own Mind-Body Language.

MODULE THREE

YOU ARE WORTHY

We have forgotten how to be present even for the good stuff now because chronic stress has pushed us deeper into disconnect between mind and body.  

IN MODULE THREE, YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN:

How we are shaped by our emotional and energetic surroundings just as we are shaped by our physical and social environments and how this affects our mental and physical well-being.

How we navigate between the two extremes of chaos and rigidity, beginning from early childhood, and then carry those habitual patterns forward as well as how we change them.

Tools for connecting with the body and processing symptoms and emotions through image and symbolism.

MODULE FOUR

YOU ARE POWERFUL

Our willingness to find and/or create freedom for ourselves is what leads us to our individuality and this fuller-expression of the self is what allows us to enjoy the many gifts that life has to offer.  

IN MODULE FOUR, YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN:

How early life experiences around authority, autonomy, punishment, power, confidence, vulnerability, etc. have shaped our ability to move forward and enjoy life.

How perfectionism, overachiever-ism, and our obsession with control are not actually serving their intended purposes but instead are standing in the way of our potential.

Tools for creating and maintaining a more positive, loving, and empowering relationship with yourself.

MODULE FIVE

YOU ARE CONNECTED

There is no better way to deepen our sense of purpose and potential than through our connections within a supportive community.  

IN MODULE FIVE, YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN:

How the power of one becomes stronger as it deepens its relationship with the all, however we are often taught to give up our sense of self for the benefit of others and thus become overburdened and disconnected.

How appropriate use of boundaries, forgiveness, acceptance and compassion become paramount to our ability to thrive in relationships with ourselves and others.

Tools for understanding and un-learning our attachment to conditional love and how to breathe our way through the healing journey.

MODULE SIX

YOU ARE CREATIVE

We have so much more ability and potential within us for healing and growth than we have ever been shown before.  

IN MODULE SIX, YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN:

How to take everything you've learned about yourself and make a commitment to implement and grow through your unique system for self-healing.

How to continue creating more open communication between your mind-body system and how to reach out for support from a place of love rather than fear.

Tools for communicating in your mind-body language through movement, gesture and healing touch.

MONTHLY COACHING CALLS

 

These calls will be hosted live on zoom and they will be recorded so that you can get all the support you need in your process. I'll be facilitating meetings with your Family Group during these calls and also opening up for Q&A. You’ll be able to submit questions in advance OR ask them in real-time so that we can make the most of our time together.

PRIVATE FACEBOOK COMMUNITY

 

This will be a safe space for you to share your experiences, ask questions, interact with, and get mutual support from like-minded people in your new Mind-Body Healing community.  I'll be putting a lot more focus on this shared space for you all and of course, I will be there too! :) 

SELF-HEALING ASSIGNMENTS

 

Each module will include a take-away activity that you can practice on your own to help yourself heal. You will receive detailed instructions and guidance on these special tools from the mind-body model to try on and incorporate into your self-healing system.

SELF-HEALING ASSESSMENTS

 

These monthly assessments will be uniquely designed for each module and they will provide you with a much-needed opportunity to check in with yourself throughout the program and keep an eye on what you've learned, what you wish to learn more about, where you feel resistance, and what has changed for you that you want to celebrate and maintain.

DEEP DIVE TEACHINGS

 

Each module will include a lecture-style teaching segment where I'll share an inside look at how we develop and respond to our life experiences and how we can work to consciously shift old patterns that are no longer serving us.

EXPERIENTIAL HEALING ACTIVITIES

 

Each module will include a special training where I will walk you through a self-healing practice from start to finish.  You will of course be given everything you need to practice with these tools on your own as well.

FAMILY GROUPS

 

At the start of the program, I will be setting you up in small groups to be used for mutual support throughout the course (and beyond, if you wish).  I will facilitate meetings for your group during the monthly coaching calls and I will also give you optional guidelines and recommendations for maintaining your groups going forward.
