Yoga, meditation, and breathwork are three of my absolute top tools for my self-healing system and you can learn about all three from my favorite mind-body yoga instructor, Dani!  Having moved through her own healing journey over the past several years, Dani has developed a deep appreciation for the slow tenderness required for each of us to connect with and establish our sense of balance and wholeness once again.  Her soothing voice and deeply compassionate heart will guide and carry you deep into nourishing yourself from the inside out.

Yoga Toolbox for Teachers and Students

This is by far the most comprehensive, colorful, and practical book that I've purchased on my yoga journey.  It is full of beautifully illustrated cardstock pages that are held together in a big binder.  Each yoga pose page has very specific instructions for physical and energetic alignment and I love that you can actually take the pages out of the binder and work with just a few at a time without having to flip around.

Peace is Every Step:

The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life

by Thich Nhat Hanh

I will often refer to this as "my favorite book" because it found me at a time in my life where I was so immensely troubled and it truly did save my life.  I was deeply conflicted about the past and I was extremely uncertain about the future and it gave me so much hope and inspiration for how to focus myself into the present. A tremendous amount of my teachings on mindfulness have their origins in the experiences that I had while reading and integrating this simple yet profoundly instrumental book.

Little Flower Yoga for Kids:

A Yoga and Mindfulness Program to Help Your Child Improve Attention and Emotional Balance

by Jennifer Cohen Harper MA E-RCYT

I trained in the Little Flower Yoga certification program and absolutely adored every minute of that experience.  Jennifer and her team have created an absolutely beautiful set of resources for parents, children, school teachers, and yoga teachers alike.  I can't recommend this enough if you have sensitive kids in your life.

Fear:

Essential Wisdom for Getting Through the Storm

by Thich Nhat Hanh

This is my favorite mindfulness teacher, his compassionate and simple wisdom reached me at a time in my life where I was feeling totally lost and afraid.  A magnificent teacher and leader, Thich Nhat Hanh will teach you the truth behind fear and how to regain calm control of your own mind through simple practice.

Yoga Platform (Collapsible)

My whole house has wall-to-wall carpeting so this was a must for me to be able to do yoga safely indoors.  I was a little skeptical before I tried it but it works like a dream and I also love that it can be used to create a solid surface for practicing outdoors as well. Highly recommend.

Koshi Chime Set with Stand

I received these as a gift and I have been absolutely blown away by the magical and mystical sounds that they make. I highly recommend them as a terrific gift for yourself or for anyone else who is exploring sound, meditation, healing, energy, etc.

Meditation Cushion Set

I used to get tired of sitting on the floor SO fast and it made meditation way less enjoyable. I tried using a cushion and of course that helped but then I found out that the key is in the combo! The round cushion gives you a boost and makes good posture easy to maintain while the square pillow takes the pressure off your joints. Magic! 😀✨

Yoga Bolster

This is the perfect companion for your restorative yoga practice. It can of course be helpful as a meditation seat and other yoga prop needs but I am telling you, a Yin Yoga Class with this little buddy is a life-changing experience.

Tibetan Singing Bowl

Such a beautiful and relaxing tone, this is a simple and very effective tool for incorporating sound into your practice. I have used them in meditation and healing sessions for years now and I especially love how easy it is to travel with these compact yet powerful instruments.

Cork Yoga Blocks

Yoga blocks are an essential "prop" for many yoga and meditation practices.  These cork blocks are nice and dense so they provide more support and security than the usual foam blocks. Plus! They are eco-friendly which makes all the difference to me. :)

Organic Incense Sticks

Did you know that our sense of smell is the fastest way to change our brain state? Not all incense is created equal but if you can find high-quality, lung-friendly, all-natural brands like this one, it can be a very useful tool in your meditation and spiritual practices.
